Where we do, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out.

Activu will use Personal Information only for the purpose of or in ways compatible with the purposes for which it was collected.

 

Information Retention

We keep information we need to provide our services only so long as we have a valid business purpose, in accordance with applicable law and our client agreements. For example, to provide you with services you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your Personal Information, we will delete it. If immediate deletion is not possible (for example, because your Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your Personal Information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible or unless as otherwise required by law.

 

User Choices

We include an “unsubscribe” hyperlink in Activu marketing emails for those users who wish to stop receiving email communication from Activu. The hyperlink will connect to our Site, which will confirm the email address that has been automatically unsubscribed and will no longer receive emails from Activu.

 

Security

We take steps to ensure that information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Notice which include appropriate technical and organisational measures. These measures are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing of your Personal Information. However, neither the Internet nor any form of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information provided to us.

 

Information Collected on Third Party Sites

If you register for events or webinars provided by us, we may receive information about you from the service providers that host or process registration for these programs or that provide other services to support these programs (such as technical support). By registering for or attending our events or webinars, you specifically consent to the receipt of these e-mail or text message communications. If you do not want to receive emails, text messages or other communications from us, please notify us by email. We may use that information to communicate with you about new or existing products and services or special offers. For example, we may periodically send promotional materials or notifications related to our products and services to the email address you provided during registration. You may unsubscribe to any of our e-mail updates by following the unsubscribe instructions in the body of any message, or by contacting us.

Browser Do Not Track Signals

Some third-party browsers provide “do not track,” machine-readable signals for websites and online services that are automatically applied by default. Please note that we do not currently respond to browsers’ do not track requests. We have no control over the information sent from your browser to third parties such as ad networks and analytics companies.
