An Activu-powered video wall is featured in the photos and videos of several recent news reports concerning “Hurricane Jack”, a fictional natural disaster designed by the Morris County Office of Emergency Management to test county response plans and communications for events similar to superstorm Sandy.
More than 100 individuals, representing various county services, will be participating in the exercise which is designed to prepare for a large-scale natural disaster. At the Morris County Emergency Operations Center, the Activu-powered video wall will provide full situational awareness and a common operating picture for officials participating in the training exercise. The goal of the drill is to help county and state teams prepare for and increase readiness in the event of a real catastrophic emergency.
