The Port Authority has launched its new Agency Operations Center (AOC) in Jersey City to enhance traveler safety and help reduce congestion by increasing the efficiency of operations and incident responses across the agency’s entire cross-Hudson transportation network. The AOC’s 8×2 Activu-powered video wall help specialists at the center to monitor real-time information on traffic levels at the agency’s tunnels, bridges, bus terminals, airports and seaports, as well as ridership on the PATH rail system.
