Activu has been accredited by multiple Designated Approval Authorities (DAAs) and authorized for use as a Multi-Level System (MLS) in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) by several Cognizant Security Agencies (CSA). We work closely with Certified Technical TEMPEST Authorities (CTTAs) to ensure all technical security matters are addressed appropriately.
Activu operates on operating systems and in environments configured by the user within Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and National Security Agency (NSA) Systems and Network Attack Center (SNAC) configurations before or after the Activu software has been loaded. Since each DoD element uses different images and different configurations of the DISA STIGS and NSA SNACs, each system will be evaluated for any conflicts in operating parameters. With detailed knowledge of IA standards and requirements, we are able to assist staff in securing ATO.
To date, Activu is successfully operating on the DoD NIPRNet and SIPRNet networks, and the Intelligence Community (IC) JWICS network. These systems have operated on various security configurations, from basic MAC III to the highest at MAC I assurance profiles. Each system was configured by the user either using an existing disk image or by employing various automated utilities such as the DISA Gold and Platinum disks. We have worked closely with Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) to ensure all technical security matters and information delivery adheres to Red/Black separation requirements as designated by CTTA.
Activu Corporation will coordinate its’ software staff to be on-site with the customer’s IT staff during this process, and will assist in any Activu software configurations that may need to be made.
