In a post 9/11 era in which greater coordination and collaboration is now a prime Department of Homeland Security (DHS) directive, security operations at the federal, state and city level are developing new ways of working together.

Activu has played a major role in this transition for several reasons.  As a network-based solution, Activu eliminates the existing difficulties created by hard-wired, technically segregated hardware-based systems.  Activu’s flexible scalability and open architecture helps promote a collaborative environment by enabling dynamic information sharing between DHS, police, fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and other groups.  The result is a coordinated response during a crisis situation, allowing leadership to make critical decisions, regardless of geographic location.

Used throughout the federal arena to conduct 24/7 operations, Activu to operate as a Multi-Level System (MLS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) by DHS, Office of Security, and Special Security Programs Division.
