Summary:

The field project manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with customer requirements and company strategy and goals. This position works with internal departments and customers for successful execution of projects and is required to travel in the United States and Canada.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the assigned project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Quality assurance
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Travel up to 75% of the time
  • Other tasks assigned by management from time to time
  • This position has no direct reports
  • This position manages the labor resources in the field

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 10 years project management experience
  • Project experience with IT systems integration preferred
  • Audio visual experience a plus
  • US Government Security Clearance preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Proven experience in people management
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • MS Office suite, including MS Project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
